Once upon a time, there was a couple who lived in a small house on the edge of a vast, peaceful lake. They had been together for many years, and their love for each other was deep and strong.
One day, as they sat on the porch watching the sun set over the lake, the woman turned to her partner and said, "You know, I feel like we've been drifting apart lately. We don't talk like we used to, and I feel like we're not really connected anymore."
The man was taken aback by her words, and he realized that she was right. They had become so caught up in their own lives and routines that they had stopped communicating with each other. He knew that he had to do something to change this.
The next day, she suggested that they take a walk together around the lake. As they walked, they talked about their hopes, their fears, and their dreams. And as the sun grew higher they become hot and they shed layers of clothes. They shared stories from their past and made plans for their future. And then they shed more layers of clothes. And as they talked, and shed layers they felt a sense of connection that they hadn't felt in a long time. By the time they reached full circle back to their little home they stood before each other without a shred of cloth. They looked at each other fully, in new light.
From that day on, they made a commitment to communicate more openly and honestly with each other. They realized that communication was the key to keeping their relationship strong and vibrant, just like the beautiful lake that surrounded their home.
As the years passed, they continued to walk and talk around the lake, always making time for each other and always keeping their lines of communication open. And their love grew stronger with each passing day, like the gentle ripples on the surface of the lake.
